قدم السَعيد مِن المَدينة فائِزاً

قدم السَعيد مِن المَدينة فائِزاً

مِن رَبه بَعد الزِيارة بِالمُنى

مِن رَبه بَعد الزِيارة بِالمُنى

Sa‘id arrived from Medina, having won

The blessed one returned from the city victorious,

From his Lord, after the visit, the fulfillment of his wishes.

From his Lord after the visit fulfilled,

فَتجملت مصرٌ بِأَبَهج زينة

فَتجملت مصرٌ بِأَبَهج زينة

وَتَجددت فيها المَسرة وَالهَنا

وَتَجددت فيها المَسرة وَالهَنا

So Egypt adorned herself in the most splendid finery,

So Egypt adorned itself in most beautiful attire,

And joy and bliss were renewed within her.

And in it gladness and delight renewed.
