يا طَبيب السِياسة المملكيَّهْ

يا طَبيب السِياسة المملكيَّهْ

وَدواها مِن كل داء عُضالِ

وَدواها مِن كل داء عُضالِ

O physician of royal governance,

O physician of the royal politics,

and its remedy for every incurable illness,

And its remedy from every stubborn illness,

وَقوام الرِياسة اليوسفيهْ

وَقوام الرِياسة اليوسفيهْ

بِسَدادٍ مرشَّحٍ باحتفال

بِسَدادٍ مرشَّحٍ باحتفال

and mainstay of Yusuf's leadership,

And the pillar of the Yusufi leadership,

with sound judgment reinforced by attentive care;

With righteousness adorned with celebration,

يا أَبا مصطفى وَيا اِبن رَسول ال

يا أَبا مصطفى وَيا اِبن رَسول ال

لَه ذي المَجد وَالعُلا وَالجَلال

لَه ذي المَجد وَالعُلا وَالجَلال

O Abu Mustafa, O descendant of the Messenger of

O Abu Mustafa and O son of the Messenger of God,

God, possessor of glory, sublimity, and majesty:

To whom belongs glory, sublimity and majesty,

مِنكَ أَرجو نجاز وَعد كَريم

مِنكَ أَرجو نجاز وَعد كَريم

شامل في وفائه لِلمَوالي

شامل في وفائه لِلمَوالي

From you I hope for fulfillment of a generous promise,

From you I hope for the fulfillment of a generous promise,

embracing the retainers in its fulfillment:

Inclusive in its loyalty to supporters,

وَهوَ صَرفٌ لسبعة مِن شهور

وَهوَ صَرفٌ لسبعة مِن شهور

مَع يَومين أَو ثلاث لَيال

مَع يَومين أَو ثلاث لَيال

and it is payment for seven months,

Which is payment for seven months,

with two days or three nights,

With two or three nights,

وَالمعافاة مِن سِهام أَصابَت

وَالمعافاة مِن سِهام أَصابَت

مُهجَتي مِن قسيِّها كَالنبال

مُهجَتي مِن قسيِّها كَالنبال

and deliverance from arrows that have struck

And relief from arrows that have struck

my heart from their bows, like shafts.

My forehead with their harshness like arrows,

وَاضطراري في مدّة العَزل أَودى

وَاضطراري في مدّة العَزل أَودى

بي إِلى ما أَضرّني مَع عيالي

بي إِلى ما أَضرّني مَع عيالي

And my dire need during my time out of office has driven

And my hardship during the period of isolation led

me to what harmed me and my dependents.

To what harmed me along with my dependents,

فَأَقل عَثرَتي فَإِنيَ عَبدٌ

فَأَقل عَثرَتي فَإِنيَ عَبدٌ

لَكَ شُكري يَزداد في أَيّ حال

لَكَ شُكري يَزداد في أَيّ حال

So lift me from my fall, for I am a servant

So lighten my stumbling for I am a servant

to you; my gratitude grows in every circumstance.

Whose gratitude increases in any state,

زادَكَ اللَه عزةً وَقبولاً

زادَكَ اللَه عزةً وَقبولاً

وَاِمتيازاً عَلى جَميع الرِجال

وَاِمتيازاً عَلى جَميع الرِجال

May God increase you in honor and acceptance,

May God increase you in might and acceptance,

and in distinction above all men,

And distinction over all men,

ما تَحلَّى عَلى الدَوام بِمَدحي

ما تَحلَّى عَلى الدَوام بِمَدحي

فيكَ بَينَ الأَنام جيدُ المَعالي

فيكَ بَينَ الأَنام جيدُ المَعالي

so long as my praise ever adorns

He who is always adorned with my praise of you

the neck of noble deeds, in your honor among mankind.

Among people, the best of the lofty.
