ياO أَيُّهاyou الشَهمthe noble-hearted one الهمامthe valiant one القولَليal-Qawlali
يا أَيُّها الشَهم الهمام القولَلي
لَكَfor you فيin جِنانgardens الخُلدeternity أَعلىthe loftiest مَنزلِabode
لَكَ في جِنان الخُلد أَعلى مَنزلِ
O noble-hearted, valiant al-Qawlali,
O noble hero, they ask me,
Yours is the loftiest abode in the gardens of eternity.
"For you, in the gardens of eternity, is the highest abode,
وَالحورand the houris قالَتsaid مُذwhen حللتَyou came to dwell بِدارهاin their abode
وَالحور قالَت مُذ حللتَ بِدارها
أَهلاًwelcome وَسَهلاًand welcome بِالحَبيبto the beloved المُقبلwho approaches
أَهلاً وَسَهلاً بِالحَبيب المُقبل
And the houris said, when you came to dwell in their abode:
And the maidens have said, since you came to their dwellings,
Welcome to the beloved who draws near!
"Welcome, welcome, O beloved who comes,"
وَلِسانand the tongue حالstate الفَوزtriumph قالَsaid مؤرخاًrecording the date
وَلِسان حال الفَوز قالَ مؤرخاً
بشرىglad tidings لَكَfor you الفَردوسParadise طرّاًin its entirety ياO عَليAli
بشرى لَكَ الفَردوس طرّاً يا عَلي
And the voice of triumph spoke in a chronogram:
And the state of attaining cries out, chronicling,
Glad tidings! All of Paradise is yours, O Ali!
"Good tidings to you, O Ali, paradise is yours, unfurled."
