ياO رَبLord بالإِحسانwith kindness عاملtreat سائِلاًa supplicant
يا رَب بالإِحسان عامل سائِلاً
يَرجوhe hopes for بِدارin the abode of المتقينthe God-fearing مَقاماa dwelling
يَرجو بِدار المتقين مَقاما
O Lord, treat a supplicant with kindness,
O Lord, treat the petitioner with kindness
Who hopes for a dwelling in the abode of the God-fearing.
Who hopes for a dwelling with the righteous
وَاغفرand forgive لهُfor him ماwhat قُلتI said فيهِabout him مؤرِّخاًcomposing a chronogram
وَاغفر لهُ ما قُلت فيهِ مؤرِّخاً
حسنٌHasan بجناتin the gardens of الخُلودeternity دَواماforever
حسنٌ بجنات الخُلود دَواما
And forgive him what I said of him in a chronogram:
And forgive him for what he has written as a chronicler
Hasan is forever in the gardens of eternity.
Goodness with the gardens of eternity is everlasting
