لا تَثق يَوماً بِخائنْ

فَهوَ في الإِيمان مائنْ

فَهوَ في الإِيمان مائنْ

Never trust a traitor,

Never trust a traitor

for he is a liar in matters of faith.

For he wavers in faith

وَتَباعد عَن مَكان

وَتَباعد عَن مَكان

هُوَ فيهِ الآن ساكن

هُوَ فيهِ الآن ساكن

And keep away from a place

And stay away from where

where he now dwells.

He resides at this time

وَاِستَمع نصح نُصوحٍ

وَاِستَمع نصح نُصوحٍ

طالَما لاقى الغَبائن

طالَما لاقى الغَبائن

And heed the counsel of a sincere adviser

And heed the advice of counselors

who has often suffered injustices.

Who have known deceivers

وَاِعتَزله وَاِجتَنبه

وَاِعتَزله وَاِجتَنبه

وَاقطع الودّ وَباين

وَاقطع الودّ وَباين

And withdraw from him and avoid him,

And avoid him and shun him

and sever the bond of affection and part ways.

And cut ties and part ways
