أَيد اللَه بامتياز وَنَصرِ

أَيد اللَه بامتياز وَنَصرِ

وَدَوام في الملك صاحب مَصرِ

وَدَوام في الملك صاحب مَصرِ

May God uphold, with distinction and victory,

May God aid with excellence and victory

And a lasting reign, the ruler of Egypt.

And the ruler of Egypt endure in his kingdom

حَيث نالَت ما لَم يَنلهُ سِواها

حَيث نالَت ما لَم يَنلهُ سِواها

مِن فَخار يَجلّ عَن حَدّ حَصر

مِن فَخار يَجلّ عَن حَدّ حَصر

For she has attained what no other has attained:

Where she attained what none other attained

Glory beyond the bounds of reckoning.

Of pride that transcends all limitation

وَعَلى غَيرِها سَمَت بِضياء

وَعَلى غَيرِها سَمَت بِضياء

دُونَهُ في صِفاته ضُوءُ بَدر

دُونَهُ في صِفاته ضُوءُ بَدر

And above others she rose with a radiance

And she rose above all others with brilliance

Whose qualities outshine the light of a full moon.

Unique in her qualities, the light of the full moon

وَإِلَيها شَبابها عادَ لَمّا

وَإِلَيها شَبابها عادَ لَمّا

قامَ فيها عَزيزها بِالأَمر

قامَ فيها عَزيزها بِالأَمر

And her youth returned to her when

And her youth returned when

Her mighty ruler took charge within her.

Her beloved rose to lead in her command

وَكَساها بِالحَزم حلة مَجد

وَكَساها بِالحَزم حلة مَجد

وَفَخار يَسمو برفعة قَدر

وَفَخار يَسمو برفعة قَدر

And with resolve he clothed her in a robe of glory,

And robed her in the mantle of glory

And honor that soars with exalted rank.

And pride that soars with the height of esteem
