Ismail has indeed attained, through honesty, what he sought.
Ismail has truly gained through honesty what he sought
And won the precedence and ranks he hoped for.
And attained what he wished for in precedence and rank
وَأَدركand attained بِالحَزمthrough resolve الَّذيwhich شاعَspread ذكرُهits renown

مَناصبَ عَنها كُلّ شَهمٍ قَد اِحتَجَب
And through resolve whose renown had spread, he attained
And reached with his renowned wisdom
Offices from which every noble man had withdrawn.
Positions from which every ambitious one held back

And under the exalted grand vizier's rule, he rose,
And during the rule of the Greatest Vizier he rose high
As he wished, above the two luminaries, by this means.
As he desired above the two rivers for that reason

And wherever he set out, prosperity circled his feet
Circulates over the land of non-Arabs and Arabs.
Revolving around the lands of the non-Arabs and Arabs

And that is God's bounty, which He grants to whomever He wills
And that is the grace of God which He gives to whom He wills
Among humankind, in an age of gladness and delight.
Among people in an age of joy and music

So may he rise in Egypt for all time,
So he remained elevated in Egypt for the length of time
Above all his peers, as long as thanks to him are due,
Above all peers, as gratitude warranted

And as long as Majdi says in congratulations, marking the date:
And Majdi did not speak falsely in congratulations recording
"Ismail Pasha's glad tidings are the object of desire."
The good tidings of Ismail Pasha being the most wondrous
