كَيفَhow النَجاةescape وَأَحكامand the decrees المنيّاتِdeaths
كَيفَ النَجاة وَأَحكام المنيّاتِ
مِنfrom دُونِهاbefore them ماضياتkeen المشرفياتِthe Mashrafi swords
مِن دُونِها ماضيات المشرفياتِ
How can there be escape, when the decrees of death
How can there be salvation, and decrees of deaths,
Have keen Mashrafi swords before them?
Without them, pasts of terraces,
رفاعةRifa‘a زادهhis sustenance أهنىmore pleasant بجناتِin gardens
رفاعة زاده أهنى بجناتِ
Rifa‘a’s sustenance is more pleasant in gardens.
Rafa'a has been endowed with gardens.
