لَكَ السَعد يا فهمي بِنُور محمد

لَكَ السَعد يا فهمي بِنُور محمد

وَطَلعة محمود المطهر مِن رجز

وَطَلعة محمود المطهر مِن رجز

Good fortune is yours, O Fahmi, by the light of Muhammad,

You are blessed Fahmy with Muhammad's light

And the countenance of Mahmud, purified of defilement.

And the righteous birth of Mahmoud free from rage

وَبُشرى بِتَوفيق لَهُ قُلت أَرخوا

وَبُشرى بِتَوفيق لَهُ قُلت أَرخوا

وَلادة تَوفيق أَجلّ مَع العز

وَلادة تَوفيق أَجلّ مَع العز

And glad tidings of Tawfiq—for him I said: record the date—

And good tidings of success for him I said record

Tawfiq's birth is most glorious, with honor.

The birth of Tawfiq the greatest with honor

وَعش مَع نجليك النَجيبين دائِماً

وَعش مَع نجليك النَجيبين دائِماً

يشير إِلَيكَ النَصر في مَصر بِالرَمز

يشير إِلَيكَ النَصر في مَصر بِالرَمز

And live always with your two noble sons;

And live forever with your two noble sons

Victory in Egypt points toward you with a sign.

Victory in Egypt signals you with symbols

وَيُنشد مَجدي في فؤاد مؤرخاً

وَيُنشد مَجدي في فؤاد مؤرخاً

لَنا يُمن مَحمود الصَفا درّة الكنز

لَنا يُمن مَحمود الصَفا درّة الكنز

And Majdi sings of Fuad, recording the date:

And sings my glory in the heart of the historian

Ours is the good fortune of Mahmud, pure of heart, the treasure's pearl.

For us blessed Mahmoud Al-Safa, pearl of treasure
