أَشرَقَت مَصر بَهجةً بإيابِ

أَشرَقَت مَصر بَهجةً بإيابِ

لِلمَليك السَعيد عالي الجَنابِ

لِلمَليك السَعيد عالي الجَنابِ

Egypt shone with joy at the return

Egypt shone with joy at the return

of the fortunate sovereign, exalted in station.

Of the auspicious king, noble and high

وَاِكتسَت حلةَ البَها وَالتَهاني

وَاِكتسَت حلةَ البَها وَالتَهاني

حَيث فازَت بِلَثم أَسنى رِكاب

حَيث فازَت بِلَثم أَسنى رِكاب

And donned the robe of splendor and felicitations,

And donned the dress of delight and congratulations

having won the honor of kissing the noblest stirrup.

Where it won the kiss of the most sublime feet

وَتلت في القُدوم إِنا فتحنا

وَتلت في القُدوم إِنا فتحنا

لَكَ يا زائر النَبي خَير باب

لَكَ يا زائر النَبي خَير باب

And on his arrival recited, “Indeed, We have opened

And recited upon the arrival, “We have opened for you

for you, O visitor to the Prophet, the finest gate.”

O visitor of the Prophet, the best door”

فَابق للملك يا سَعيد المَعالي

فَابق للملك يا سَعيد المَعالي

وَافر الحَظ فائِزاً بِالثَواب

وَافر الحَظ فائِزاً بِالثَواب

So live on to reign, O Sa'id of lofty honors,

So remain for the king, O eminent in glories

rich in good fortune, winning the reward.

With abundant fortune, winner of reward
