عزة سر في الأَنام بنجل

جاءَ يَزهو بِحُسنه وَعَبيرِهْ

جاءَ يَزهو بِحُسنه وَعَبيرِهْ

ʿIzzat was gladdened among humankind by a son,

Who came, radiant in his beauty and fragrance.

فَنَما شُكره وَزاد اِبتِهالاً

فَنَما شُكره وَزاد اِبتِهالاً

وَثَناء لربه وَنَصيره

وَثَناء لربه وَنَصيره

So his gratitude grew, and he increased in supplication

And in praise of his Lord and Helper.

وَصَفا الوَقت وَالهَنا قال أرخ

وَصَفا الوَقت وَالهَنا قال أرخ

بَدر عَبد العَزيز إِشراق نُوره

بَدر عَبد العَزيز إِشراق نُوره

Time grew serene, and joy said, “Record the date:

ʿAbd al-ʿAzīz is a full moon, his light shining forth.”
