The star of good fortune, bliss, and glory

Has appeared, outshining the radiant stars.

وَتَبدت شَمس المَحاسن تُجلَى

And the sun of beauty appeared, unveiled

For you, O full moon, in robes of glad tidings.

فَتنعم بِقربها وَتَمتّع

بِجَزيل الثَنا وَحُسن السَرائر

So delight in her nearness, and take pleasure

In abundant praise and goodness of heart.
