بِالمَعاليthrough noble deeds جَددتَyou renewed مَقعدَa seat مَجدٍof glory
بِالمَعالي جَددتَ مَقعدَ مَجدٍ
ياO عَليّAli إِذfor أَنتَyou خَيرthe finest أَميرِemir
يا عَليّ إِذ أَنتَ خَير أَميرِ
Through noble deeds you renewed a seat of glory,
O Ali, for you are the finest emir.
فَلَهُso to it belongs العزُّhonor مُذsince تَشيَّدَit was built أَرخrecord the date
فَلَهُ العزُّ مُذ تَشيَّدَ أَرخ
مَقعدa seat السَعدof felicity منشأbuilt بِالسُرورwith joy
مَقعد السَعد منشأ بِالسُرور
So honor has been its portion since it was built; record the date:
A seat of felicity, built with joy.
