لَها بِالمَعالي في التَهاني تُخاطبُ

Blessings upon a house where processions never cease

Congratulations to a house that processions

to hail it with lofty praise in their congratulations.

Still come to it with glories in congratulations addressing

وَكَيفَ وَشاهين العلا في سَمائها

وَكَيفَ وَشاهين العلا في سَمائها

هُوَ المشتري وَالزهر فيها كَواكب

هُوَ المشتري وَالزهر فيها كَواكب

And how could it be otherwise, when exalted Shahin in its sky

And how when the falcons of glory are in its sky

is Jupiter, and its flowers are stars?

He is the buyer and the flowers in it are stars

وَإقباله يَزداد فيها وَيَزدهي

وَإقباله يَزداد فيها وَيَزدهي

وَتَسعى إِلى عَلياه فيها المَراتب

وَتَسعى إِلى عَلياه فيها المَراتب

And his good fortune grows within it and becomes resplendent,

And its prosperity increases in it and becomes more radiant

and ranks within it strive toward his eminence.

And to its heights in it the ranks hasten

وَيَملؤها مِنهُ بِأَنجب صَبية

وَيَملؤها مِنهُ بِأَنجب صَبية

لَهُ مَعَهُم فيها تَطيب المَشارب

لَهُ مَعَهُم فيها تَطيب المَشارب

And he fills it with the finest children of his own;

And it is filled with the best of boys from him

in their company, the draughts there taste sweet to him.

With them in it the drinks are sweetened

وَمَجدي لَهُ فيها يَقول مؤرخاً

وَمَجدي لَهُ فيها يَقول مؤرخاً

سراية شاهين لَها السَعد طالب

سراية شاهين لَها السَعد طالب

And Majdi says for him about it, composing a chronogram:

And my glory for it, a historian says

Shahin's palace—good fortune seeks it.

The palace of falcons, for it fortune is seeking
