لِقُدومfor the arrival of السَعيدSa‘id خَيرbest مَليكٍking
لِقُدوم السَعيد خَير مَليكٍ
بِالأَمانيwith good wishes مِنfrom طيبةTayba (Medina) المُختارthe Chosen One
بِالأَماني مِن طيبة المُختار
At the arrival of Sa‘id, the finest king,
For the coming of the happy, good King
With good wishes from Tayba of the Chosen One,
With hopes from the goodness of the Chosen one
شَرحopened اللَهGod صَدرthe heart of مَصرEgypt وَسادَتand she became supreme
شَرح اللَه صَدر مَصر وَسادَت
عِندَupon تَشريفهhis gracious visit عَلىover الأَمصارthe cities
عِندَ تَشريفه عَلى الأَمصار
God gladdened Egypt’s heart, and she rose supreme
May God ease the heart of Egypt and its Masters
