وَمِنand among العَجائبthe wonders أَنthat رَأَيتI saw كَسيحةًa crippled one
وَمِن العَجائب أَن رَأَيت كَسيحةً
تَمشيshe walks كَماas تَرضىyou please بِغَيرwithout مَشَقةdifficulty
تَمشي كَما تَرضى بِغَير مَشَقة
And among the wonders is that I saw a crippled one,
Among the wonders is that I saw a plump woman
Who walks as you please without difficulty.
Walking as she pleases without any trouble
إِنif رُمتyou wished أَنto تَمشيyou walk عَلىat مَهلleisure مَشَتshe walked
إِن رُمت أَن تَمشي عَلى مَهل مَشَت
أَوor إِنif عَلىin عَجلhaste جَرَتshe ran بِكَwith you فاثبُتِso hold steady
أَو إِن عَلى عَجل جَرَت بِكَ فاثبُتِ
If you wish to walk at leisure, she walks;
If she wanted to walk slowly she strolled
Or, if in haste, she runs with you—so hold steady.
Or if in a hurry she trotted, steady yourself
