in a commander of the army of victory on campaigns.

in Egypt, which thus attained the highest ranks.

illuminated the plains and wildernesses for us.

flowing throughout time from abundant gifts.

And it is enough for you that the sons of your age

have words about you recited in every language,

and that they have adorned the lines of their pages

with the most precious tribute offered to the best of rulers.

So hasten to what gives the soul delight,

and fear no slanderers' schemes from now on.

and the gray dove has sung for you upon tamarisk trees.

And nightingales have perched upon the great trees of joy,

    each patiently perfecting its melody.

toward you in the garden of companionship, despite the foes.

And they have spread their palms in supplication,

for long life in enduring stability,

and victory and support for the noblest state,

in which everything abounds in blessings.

And Glory said to you, 'My standing is as you wish,

with the noblest proud lords, champions like lions.'

reported with certainty by some narrators.
