لَكَto you مِنfrom مصرEgypt وَالدِيارand the lands العَليهْexalted
لَكَ مِن مصر وَالدِيار العَليهْ
ياO خديويKhedive الزَمانthe age أَسمىloftiest تَحيهْgreeting
يا خديوي الزَمان أَسمى تَحيهْ
To you, from Egypt and the exalted lands,
From Egypt's land and lofty homes to you
O Khedive of the age, the loftiest greeting.
O Khedive of the age, greetings anew
وَعَليكand upon you السَلامpeace فيat كُلevery وَقتtime
وَعَليك السَلام في كُل وَقت
مِنfrom جُنودtroops مَنصورةvictorious وَرَعيهْand subjects
مِن جُنود مَنصورة وَرَعيهْ
And peace be upon you at all times,
And upon you be peace at every hour
From victorious troops and subjects.
From Mansur's troops and flock they shepherd true
