بَدا مُصطفى في أُفق سَعد وَسؤدد

كَوالده يزهو بِمَصر كَفَرقدِ

Mustafa appeared on the horizon of good fortune and eminence.

Mustafa appeared on the horizon of Saad and Soudad

Like his father, he shines proudly in Egypt, like the star Farqad.

Like his father, he shone in Egypt like a planet

فَقالَ العُلا عِندَ الولاد مؤرِّخاً

فَقالَ العُلا عِندَ الولاد مؤرِّخاً

ذَكّي سَما صبحاً بِأَكرَم مَولد

ذَكّي سَما صبحاً بِأَكرَم مَولد

Then Glory said at his birth, recording its date:

So the eminent said at his birth, recording

A brilliant one rose as dawn with the noblest birth.

He brought intelligence to the sky, with the noblest birth
