لَكَ يا وليّ العَهد أَفئدةُ الوَرى

لَكَ يا وليّ العَهد أَفئدةُ الوَرى

في عَصرك الزاهي بمصر خَزائنُ

في عَصرك الزاهي بمصر خَزائنُ

For you, O Crown Prince, the hearts of humankind

For you, O Crown Prince, are the hearts of people

Are treasure houses in Egypt in your radiant age.

In your prosperous era, Egypt has treasures

وَوُجود صُورتك الشَريفة بَينَهُم

وَوُجود صُورتك الشَريفة بَينَهُم

لِلفَضل في ظل العَدالة زائن

لِلفَضل في ظل العَدالة زائن

And the presence of your noble likeness among them

And your noble image among them

Is an adornment to virtue in the shade of justice.

For virtue in the shade of justice, yearning

فاسلم وَعش طُول الزَمان لِدَولة

فاسلم وَعش طُول الزَمان لِدَولة

فيها بِوَجهك تَستَنير مَدائن

فيها بِوَجهك تَستَنير مَدائن

So remain safe, and live throughout time for a realm

So live long and in peace for the state

Where cities are illumined by your countenance.

Wherein by your face its cities are illuminated
