يا قاضِياً باتَ أَعمى

O judge who spent the night blind
O judge, now blind
to the auspicious crescent moon,
To the blessed crescent
أَفطَرتَyou broke your fast فيin رَمضانٍRamadan
أَفطَرتَ في رَمضانٍ
وَصمتَand you fasted فيon يَومday عيدِEid
وَصمتَ في يَوم عيدِ
you broke your fast in Ramadan
You broke fast in Ramadan
and fasted on the day of Eid.
And fasted on Eid
