رَأَيتُ عَلِيّاً في كَمالِ جمالِهِ

رَأَيتُ عَلِيّاً في كَمالِ جمالِهِ

فَشاهَدتُ مِنهُ الرَوضَ ثانيَ مُزنِهِ

فَشاهَدتُ مِنهُ الرَوضَ ثانيَ مُزنِهِ

I saw Ali in the perfection of his beauty.

I saw Ali in the peak of his beauty

So in him I beheld the garden, second to his rain clouds.

So I witnessed in him a garden, the most delightful of its kind

وَلَمّا تَبدّى لي طرازُ عذارِهِ

وَلَمّا تَبدّى لي طرازُ عذارِهِ

رَأَيتُ طرازَ اللَهِ في ثَوب حُسنِهِ

رَأَيتُ طرازَ اللَهِ في ثَوب حُسنِهِ

And when the embroidery of his cheek-down appeared to me,

And when the elegance of his charm appeared before me

I saw God's embroidery in the robe of his beauty.

I saw the elegance of God in the dress of his beauty
