عِنديَ سِرٌّ لِاِبنِ متوِيَّةٍ

عِنديَ سِرٌّ لِاِبنِ متوِيَّةٍ

وَعَزمِيَ الساعَةَ أَن أُفشي

وَعَزمِيَ الساعَةَ أَن أُفشي

I have a secret of Ibn Matwiyya’s,

I have a secret for the son of Mutawwiya

And my resolve this hour is to divulge it.

And I am determined now to divulge it

أَخبرني بَعضيَ عَن بَعضِهِ

أَخبرني بَعضيَ عَن بَعضِهِ

بِأَنَّهُ أَوسَعُ مَن يَمشي

بِأَنَّهُ أَوسَعُ مَن يَمشي

A part of me told me about a part of him:

Some of me told some other part of me

That he is the widest of all who walk.

That he is the most generous when he walks
