قَدindeed حَضرhe attended الجامِعَthe congregational mosque مَعwith رقَّةٍweakness
قَد حَضر الجامِعَ مَع رقَّةٍ
أَحدَثَهاhe introduced it العالِمُthe scholar فيin دينِهِhis faith
أَحدَثَها العالِمُ في دينِهِ
He has indeed come to the congregational mosque with a weakness
He attended the mosque gently
that the scholar has introduced into his faith.
Discussing religion with the scholar
وَاللَهِby God ماnothing يُحضِرهbrings him there مُسرِعاًin haste
وَاللَهِ ما يُحضِره مُسرِعاً
اِلّاexcept اِرتِياحاdelight لِأُساطينِهِfor its pillars
اِلّا اِرتِياحا لِأُساطينِهِ
By God, nothing brings him there in haste
By God, he does not rush there
except delight in its pillars.
Except for comfort amongst its pillars
