يستَنبِطُ الاِشراقَ من اِشراقِكا
Eid has visited you, lodging in your portico,
The feast descended upon your abode
Drawing radiance from your radiance.
Seeking to extract radiance from your own radiance
فَاِقبَلso accept مِنَfrom الطيبperfume الَّذيwhich أَهدَيتُهُI gifted it
فَاِقبَل مِنَ الطيب الَّذي أَهدَيتُهُ
ماwhat يَسرِقsteals العَطّارthe perfumer منfrom أَخلاقِكاyour virtues
ما يَسرِق العَطّار من أَخلاقِكا
So accept, from the perfume I have given you,
So accept the perfume I have gifted
What the perfumer steals from your virtues.
That which the perfumer pilfered from your virtues

فَأَضِف بِهِ طَبَقاً إِلى أَطباقِكا
And good manners require taking it with its container;
And etiquette requires accepting the vessel with its contents
So with it, add a platter to your platters.
So add with it a platter to your platters
