أَبو العَبّاسِ تَحضره جُموعٌ
منof الفُقَهاءِthe jurists لجّواpersisted فيin العواءِhowling
من الفُقَهاءِ لجّوا في العواءِ
Abu al-Abbas is attended by crowds
Abu al-Abbas is surrounded by crowds
of jurists who have persisted in howling,
Of jurists who gather in the wilderness
كَأَنَّهُمُas though they were اِذاwhen اِجتَمَعواthey gather عَلَيهِaround him
كَأَنَّهُمُ اِذا اِجتَمَعوا عَلَيهِ
ذُبابٌflies يَجتَمِعنَthey gather عَلىon خراءِexcrement
ذُبابٌ يَجتَمِعنَ عَلى خراءِ
as though, when they gather around him,
As though when they gather around him
they were flies gathering on excrement.
