إنّي لِحُبِّ محمدٍ وَوصيِّه

إنّي لِحُبِّ محمدٍ وَوصيِّه

أَنحوهُما بِمَديحيَ المَوصوف

أَنحوهُما بِمَديحيَ المَوصوف

Indeed, out of love for Muhammad and his appointed successor,

I turn to them both with my renowned praise.

اِن لَم أَكُن حَرباً لِحَربٍ كُلِّها

اِن لَم أَكُن حَرباً لِحَربٍ كُلِّها

فَرَأَيتُ كفي مِثلَ كفِّ الكوفي

فَرَأَيتُ كفي مِثلَ كفِّ الكوفي

If I am not an enemy to the whole clan of Harb,

Then may I see my hand like the Kufan's hand.
