أَباO father of حسنٍHasan اِنif كانَis حُبُّكَlove for you مُدخِليbringing me into
أَبا حسنٍ اِن كانَ حُبُّكَ مُدخِلي
جَحيماًHell فَاِنَّthen indeed الفَوزَtriumph عِنديin my view جَحيمُهاits hellfire
جَحيماً فَاِنَّ الفَوزَ عِندي جَحيمُها
O Abu Hasan, if loving you is what ushers me
O Abu Hasan, if loving you should lead me
into Hell, then in my eyes its Hell is triumph.
into Hell, then its hellfire is triumph to me.
وَكَيفَand how يَخافُfears النارَthe Fire منone who هوhe مُؤمِنٌa believer
وَكَيفَ يَخافُ النارَ من هو مُؤمِنٌ
بِأَنin the fact that أَميرَthe Commander of المُؤمِنينَthe Faithful قَسيمُهاits apportioner
بِأَن أَميرَ المُؤمِنينَ قَسيمُها
And how could one who believes fear the Fire,
And how can one fear the Fire while believing
believing the Commander of the Faithful apportions it?
that the Commander of the Faithful is the one who apportions it?
