يَقولونَ لي ما تحبُّ النَبِي

يَقولونَ لي ما تحبُّ النَبِي

فَقُلتُ الثَرى بِفَم الكاذِبِ

فَقُلتُ الثَرى بِفَم الكاذِبِ

They say to me, “You do not love the Prophet.”

They ask me, do you love the Prophet?

So I said, “Dust in the liar’s mouth!”

I said: the dust in the mouth of the liar!

أُحِبُّ النَبِيَّ وَآلَ النَبِيِّ

أُحِبُّ النَبِيَّ وَآلَ النَبِيِّ

وَأَختَصُّ آلَ أَبي طالِبِ

وَأَختَصُّ آلَ أَبي طالِبِ

I love the Prophet and the Prophet’s family,

I love the Prophet and the Prophet's family,

And I especially cherish the family of Abu Talib.

And hold special affection for the family of Abu Talib.
