1. قَد قَبِلنا مِنَ الجَميعِ كِتاباً

    وَرَدَدنا لِوَقتِها الباقِياتِ

    We have accepted a book from among them all,

    and returned the rest at once.

  2. لَستُ اِستَغنمُ الكَثيرَ فَطَبعي

    قَولُ خُذ لَيسَ مَذهَبي قَول هاتِ

    I do not seek to gain much, for my nature is

    to say “Take”; it is not my way to say “Give me.”
