لَمّا رُفِعَت نارُكُم لِلساري

لَمّا رُفِعَت نارُكُم لِلساري

آنَستُ عَلى النارِ هُدى الأَسرارِ

آنَستُ عَلى النارِ هُدى الأَسرارِ

When your fire was raised for the night traveler,

When your fire was raised to the banner,

I perceived at the fire the guidance of mysteries.

I perceived in the fire the guidance of mysteries.

قَد جِئتُكُم أَرومُ مِنها قَبَساً

قَد جِئتُكُم أَرومُ مِنها قَبَساً

نوديتُ أَن بورِكَ مَن في النارِ

نوديتُ أَن بورِكَ مَن في النارِ

Indeed, I came to you seeking a burning brand from it.

I have come to you to pick from it an ember,

I was called to: “Blessed is whoever is in the fire.”

Called out that blessings be upon those in the fire.
