بِكُم يَهتَدي يا نَبِيَّ الهُدى

بِكُم يَهتَدي يا نَبِيَّ الهُدى

وَلِيٌّ إِلى حُبِّكُم يَنتَسِب

وَلِيٌّ إِلى حُبِّكُم يَنتَسِب

Through you, O Prophet of guidance, is guided

With you the guide to guidance is found, O prophet of guidance

a devotee who identifies himself with love for you.

One who claims devotion to loving you

بِهِ يَكسِبُ الأَجرَ في بَعثِهِ

بِهِ يَكسِبُ الأَجرَ في بَعثِهِ

وَيَخلُصُ مِن هَولِ ما يَكتَسِب

وَيَخلُصُ مِن هَولِ ما يَكتَسِب

Through it he earns reward at his resurrection

Through it he earns reward in his resurrection

and escapes the terror of what he earns.

And is saved from the terror of what he has earned

وَقَد أَمَّ نَحوَكَ مُستَشفِعاً

وَقَد أَمَّ نَحوَكَ مُستَشفِعاً

إِلى اللَهِ مِمّا إِلَيهِ نُسِب

إِلى اللَهِ مِمّا إِلَيهِ نُسِب

And he has come toward you, seeking intercession

And now he has aimed towards you, interceding,

with God for what has been imputed to him.

To God, from that to which he is attributed

سَلِ اللَهَ يَجعَل لَهُ مَخرَجاً

سَلِ اللَهَ يَجعَل لَهُ مَخرَجاً

وَيَرزُقُهُ مِن حَيثُ لا يَحتَسِب

وَيَرزُقُهُ مِن حَيثُ لا يَحتَسِب

Ask God to make a way out for him

and provide for him from where he does not expect.
