ياO سَمِيَّnamesake of الَّذيthe one who لَهُto him دانَتِsubmitted الجِنthe jinn (continued)
يا سَمِيَّ الَّذي لَهُ دانَتِ الجِن
نُcompletion of 'the jinn' وَجاءَتand came بِعَرشِهاwith her throne بَلقيسُBilqis
نُ وَجاءَت بِعَرشِها بَلقيسُ
O namesake of him to whom the jinn submitted,
O Noble One to whom the jinn are subservient
and Bilqis came with her throne;
Who came to him on her throne was Bilqis
غَيرَnot بِدعٍa novelty إِذاif أَطاعَتobeys لَكَto you الإِنhumankind (continued)
غَيرَ بِدعٍ إِذا أَطاعَت لَكَ الإِن
سُcompletion of 'humankind' وَهامَتand yearn إِلىtoward لِقاكَmeeting you النُفوسُthe souls
سُ وَهامَت إِلى لِقاكَ النُفوسُ
it is no wonder if humankind obeys you,
It is no wonder when souls yearn for your company
and souls yearn to meet you.
And the jinn hasten to obey your every command
