حُ وَيَسمو الإيرادُ وَالوُرّادُ
O king, at whose mention praise takes pride,
O king, the cities boast of your mention,
and the presentation of praise and those who come are exalted.
And revenue and roses rise high,
أَنتَyou أَعلىmore exalted مِنthan أَنto تُهَنّىbe congratulated بِعيدٍon a festival
أَنتَ أَعلى مِن أَن تُهَنّى بِعيدٍ

بَل تُهَنّى بِمَجدِكَ الأَعيادُ
You are too exalted to be congratulated on a festival;
You are too lofty to be congratulated on a holiday,
rather, festivals are congratulated on your glory.
Rather, holidays congratulate you for your glory,

So remain in a blessing that has gladdened the one who hopes in
Stay, by the grace with which an aspirer is secretly delighted,
you, and driven back the envious in their rage over it.

May your enemies be struck deaf during your fasting; and when you break
The enemies fast in your fasting,
your fast, may their livers be torn apart.
And from your breakfast their livers break fast.
