May no affliction lodge in the substance of your body,

Nor illness spread anywhere but in your glances.

May you be spared sickness anywhere but in your waist, or

In a promise you have a mind to break.

The languor of your pulse is stolen from your eyes,

And your body's weakness is borrowed from your eyelids.

If I could bear your pain for you with my heart,

I would make it burn in the blaze of your fever.
