قَدindeed مَرَّpassed ليfor me لَيلَةٌa night بِالديرِat the monastery صالِحَةٌpleasant
قَد مَرَّ لي لَيلَةٌ بِالديرِ صالِحَةٌ
مَعwith كُلِّevery ذيone possessing طَلعَةٍa countenance بِالبَدرِto the full moon مُشتَبِهِsimilar
مَع كُلِّ ذي طَلعَةٍ بِالبَدرِ مُشتَبِهِ
I once spent a pleasant night at the monastery,
A night of goodness passed me by the monastery,
With everyone whose countenance resembled the full moon.
Similar to every handsome one, in the full moon disguised,
وَقَدand indeed عَزَمتُI have resolved بِأَنto أَغشاهُI visit it ثانِيَةًa second time
وَقَد عَزَمتُ بِأَن أَغشاهُ ثانِيَةً
فَهَلso, will…? تُعينُyou help عَلىin غَيٍّtransgression هَمَمتُI contemplated بِهِconcerning it
فَهَل تُعينُ عَلى غَيٍّ هَمَمتُ بِهِ
And I have resolved to visit it a second time;
I've decided I shall visit it a second time,
So will you aid me in the transgression I have contemplated?
Could you assist me in this intent I have devised?
