قُم بِنا إِنّا قَصدُنا الإِجتِماعُ

لا مُدامٌ وَحَضرَةٌ وَسَماعُ

Come with us, for we intend to gather

No wine or presence or listening

لَيسَ مِن شَأنِنا التَقَيُّدُ بِالشَر

بِ فَإِن زالَت زالَتِ الأَطماعُ

It is not our business to adhere to evil

So if that passes, passions will pass

إِن يَكُن صَدَّنا عَنِ الراحِ ذو الأَم

رِ وَذو الأَمرِ في الأُمورِ مُطاعُ

If the protector bars us from comfort

The protector in matters is obeyed

فَلَدَينا مُدامَةٌ ما أَتى النَص

صُ بِتَحريمِها وَلا الإِجماعُ

For us there is wine as long as the text

Does not forbid it, nor consensus

إِن يَكُن حُرِّمَ المُدامُ عَلَينا

فَلَدَينا الحَشيشُ وَالفُقّاعُ

If wine is forbidden to us

For us there is hashish and bubbles
