لَيسَ عَنكَ مُصطَبَرُ

لَيسَ عَنكَ مُصطَبَرُ

حينَ أَسعَدَ القَدَرُ

حينَ أَسعَدَ القَدَرُ

There is no bearing separation from you

When fate has been kind.

إِنَّ صَفوَ عَيشَتِنا

إِنَّ صَفوَ عَيشَتِنا

لا يَشوبُهُ كَدَرُ

لا يَشوبُهُ كَدَرُ

Indeed, the serenity of our life

Is clouded by no sorrow.

فَاِبتَدِر لِمَجلِسِنا

فَاِبتَدِر لِمَجلِسِنا

فَاللَبيبُ يَبتَدِرُ

فَاللَبيبُ يَبتَدِرُ

So hasten to our gathering,

For the wise hasten.

وَاَعجَبَن لِشَمسِ ضُحىً

وَاَعجَبَن لِشَمسِ ضُحىً

قَد سَعى بِها قَمَرُ

قَد سَعى بِها قَمَرُ

And marvel at a midmorning sun

That a moon has borne along.

وَالخُطوبُ غافِلَةٌ

وَالخُطوبُ غافِلَةٌ

وَالرِفاقُ قَد حَضَروا

وَالرِفاقُ قَد حَضَروا

And misfortunes are heedless,

And the companions have arrived,

وَالعُيونُ ناظِرَةٌ

وَالعُيونُ ناظِرَةٌ

وَالقُلوبُ تَنتَظِرُ

وَالقُلوبُ تَنتَظِرُ

And eyes are watching,

And hearts are waiting.

غَيرَ أَنَّهُم نَفَرٌ

غَيرَ أَنَّهُم نَفَرٌ

عَن رِضاكَ ما نَفَروا

عَن رِضاكَ ما نَفَروا

Yet they are a band of men

Who have never turned from pleasing you.

إِن مَنَحتَهُم شَكَروا

إِن مَنَحتَهُم شَكَروا

أَو مَنَعتَهُم عَذَروا

أَو مَنَعتَهُم عَذَروا

If you give to them, they give thanks;

Or if you withhold, they excuse you.
