تَصَدَّق فَإِنّا ذا النَهارَ بِخَلوَةٍ

تَصَدَّق فَإِنّا ذا النَهارَ بِخَلوَةٍ

إِذا زُرتَها تَمَّت لَدَيَّ المَحاسِنُ

إِذا زُرتَها تَمَّت لَدَيَّ المَحاسِنُ

Be generous, for today we are at a private gathering;

Be generous, for today in solitude

If you visit it, all delights will be complete for me.

When you visit her, beauty is perfected through me

أَوانٍ وَساقٍ غَيرُ وانٍ وَمُطرِبٌ

أَوانٍ وَساقٍ غَيرُ وانٍ وَمُطرِبٌ

وَراحٌ لَها طيبُ السُرورِ مُقارِنُ

وَراحٌ لَها طيبُ السُرورِ مُقارِنُ

Vessels, an unflagging cupbearer, and a musician,

A time and waist unlike any other, and a singer

And wine accompanied by the sweetness of joy.

With a pleasant happiness always accompanying her

فَإِن زُرتَ مَغنانا تَكُن أَنتَ أَوَّلاً

فَإِن زُرتَ مَغنانا تَكُن أَنتَ أَوَّلاً

وَعَبدُكَ ثانيها وَشادٍ وَشادِنُ

وَعَبدُكَ ثانيها وَشادٍ وَشادِنُ

So if you visit our abode, you yourself will be first,

So if you visit our singers, be first yourself

And your servant second among them, with a singer and a young gazelle.

وَخامِسُها الراووقُ وَالكَأسُ سادِسٌ

And fifth comes the wine strainer, and the cup is sixth,
