ماhow أَرخَصَcheap عِشقَهُlove for him وَماand how أَغلاهُdear
I love a moon whom all humankind loves.
How cheap love for him is, and how dear!
يَنأىhe draws away مَلَلاًout of boredom وَخاطِريand my mind مَأواهُhis abode
ماhow أَبعَدَهُfar he is مِنّيfrom me وَماand how أَدناهُnear he is
He draws away out of boredom, yet my mind is his abode.
How far he is from me, and how near!
