قَدَمتَ وَقَد لاحَ الهِلالُ مُبَشَّراً

قَدَمتَ وَقَد لاحَ الهِلالُ مُبَشَّراً

بِعَودِكَ إِنَّ السَعدَ فيهِ قَرينُه

بِعَودِكَ إِنَّ السَعدَ فيهِ قَرينُه

You have arrived, and the crescent has appeared, bringing glad tidings

You came, and the crescent moon shone bright

of your return; indeed, good fortune is its companion therein.

Heralding your return, for luck dwells with it

وَيُخبِرُ أَنَّ النَصرَ فيهِ مُقَدَّرٌ

وَيُخبِرُ أَنَّ النَصرَ فيهِ مُقَدَّرٌ

أَلَم تَرَهُ قَد لاحَ في الغَربِ نونُهُ

أَلَم تَرَهُ قَد لاحَ في الغَربِ نونُهُ

And it foretells that victory is ordained therein.

Telling that victory therein is ordained

Have you not seen it? Its nūn (ن) has appeared in the west.

Did you not see it shine like a 'noon' in the west
