قُلوبُناour hearts مودَعَةٌentrusted عِندَكُمwith you
قُلوبُنا مودَعَةٌ عِندَكُم
أَمانَةًas a trust نَعجَزُwe are incapable عَنof حَملِهاbearing it
أَمانَةً نَعجَزُ عَن حَملِها
Our hearts are entrusted to you,
Our hearts left with you
a trust we are unable to bear.
In trust we can't carry
إِنif لَمnot تَصونوهاyou safeguard them بِإِحسانِكُمwith your kindness
إِن لَم تَصونوها بِإِحسانِكُم
أَدّواreturn الأَماناتِthe trusts إِلىto أَهلِهاtheir owners
أَدّوا الأَماناتِ إِلى أَهلِها
If you do not safeguard them with your kindness,
If you don't guard them with care
return the trusts to their owners.
