فَلَمso did not يَنجُescape مِنهُمamong them فيin البُحُورِthe seas مُلَجِّجٌone venturing into deep waters
فَلَم يَنجُ مِنهُم في البُحُورِ مُلَجِّجٌ
ولمand did not يُنجِsave مَنthe one who جَابَhewed through الصُّخُورَthe rocks اجتِنَابُهاavoiding them
ولم يُنجِ مَن جَابَ الصُّخُورَ اجتِنَابُها
So no one among them who ventured into the seas’ depths escaped.
No one escaped in the turbulent seas
Nor did avoiding them save the one who hewed through the rocks.
Nor did avoiding the rocks bring safety
