والنَّجمُand the star أقربُnearer منthan سِرِّيmy secret إذاwhen اشتَمَلَتenclosed
والنَّجمُ أقربُ من سِرِّي إذا اشتَمَلَت
مِنِّىof mine علىaround السِّرِّthe secret أضلاعٌribs وأَحشاءُand entrails
مِنِّى على السِّرِّ أضلاعٌ وأَحشاءُ
And the star is nearer than my secret, when they close
The star is closer to my secret when
around the secret within me—my ribs and entrails.
