يا أيها الحاجبُ المُع

يا أيها الحاجبُ المُع

تَلِي على كِيوَانِ

تَلِي على كِيوَانِ

O you chamberlain, exalted

O you who guards the lofty Kīwān

above Kiwan (Saturn),

And the one within it who attained glory

ومَن بِهِ قد تَنَاهَى

ومَن بِهِ قد تَنَاهَى

فَخَارٌ كُلِّ يَمَانِ

فَخَارٌ كُلِّ يَمَانِ

and you, through whom has reached its height

So it became superior to all Yaman

the pride of every Yemeni:

Al-‘Āmiriyyah has become

العامريّةُ أضحت

العامريّةُ أضحت

كجنَّة الرضوانِ

كجنَّة الرضوانِ

Al-ʿAmiriyya has become

Like the Garden of Paradise

like the garden of divine favor,

Unique to the unique one

فريدةً لفريدٍ

فريدةً لفريدٍ

ما بين أهل الزمانِ

ما بين أهل الزمانِ

peerless, for a peerless man

Amongst all the people of the time

among the people of the age.
