قَوْمٌa people تَرَىyou see واحِدَهُمْone of them صِهْمِيماharsh and unyielding
قَوْمٌ تَرَى واحِدَهُمْ صِهْمِيما
لِلنَّاسِtoward people فيin نادِيهِمِtheir assembly غَشُوهاunclear as written; possibly غَشُومًا, 'oppressive'
لِلنَّاسِ في نادِيهِمِ غَشُوها
A people—you see each one of them harsh and unyielding,
A people whose sole member in their club
Toward people in their assembly, [apparently: oppressive],
Appears most genial to all around
لاnot رَاحِمَshowing mercy to الناسِthe people ولاand not مَرْحُوماshown mercy
لا رَاحِمَ الناسِ ولا مَرْحُوما
Neither showing people mercy nor shown mercy.
Yet has no pity for others nor is pitied
