A resolve that has never waned,

Ambition that never flags

From our forefathers’ heritage.

From our forefathers' legacy

قد روى كلّ جيل

عدلنا والكرم

Every generation has recounted

Every generation has narrated

Our justice and generosity.

Since the time of the Messenger,

Since the days of the Prophet

We have never broken our pledges.

قد جلونا العقول

وبلغنا القمم

We have burnished minds

We have enlightened intellects

And reached the summits,

And reached the pinnacle

فأنرنا السبيل

وهدينا الأمم

So we lit the way

And guided the nations.
