Poems
- الحب حرص بالفتى جامحLove is a craving that runs wild with a young man;
A dullard who never wrote a letter with a pen,
She came, pounding her stride—what a pounding!
I shall quench the heart's burning heat of passion,
It stretched out its forelegs, then sped on its way,
I bear no blame, since Zuhra’s daughter has dealt deceitfully
And a companion I roused to rise,
And a heavy burden I bore weighed me down,
- ونحرا عليه الدر تزهو كرومهAnd a neck bearing pearls, its grapevines flourishing;
