And deception's dominion over

And the sultanate of deception over

the conscience of justice and moral integrity,

وشعوذة وتغرير

لسحق الصدق والكرم

And charlatanry and beguilement,

And witchcraft and delusion

To crush truthfulness and generosity,

To crush honesty and generosity

ومفسدة لاخلاق

وتجرئة على الحرم

وتجرئة على الحرم

And a corrupting influence on morals,

And corruption of morals

And incitement to violate sanctities,

And audacity against the sanctity

وجعجعة وتهويل

لغمّ النور بالقتمِ

And bluster and alarmism,

And clamor and intimidation

To shroud the light with darkness,

To extinguish light with darkness

والفاظٌ مطنطنةٌ

والفاظٌ مطنطنةٌ

وتعظيم لمجترم

وتعظيم لمجترم

And high-sounding words,

And words that clang

And glorification of a criminal.

And glorification of criminals

قد اجتمع القضاة وهم

قد اجتمع القضاة وهم

عصارة سُلطة الأمم

عصارة سُلطة الأمم

The judges had assembled, and they were

The judges gathered and they are

the distillation of the nations' authority,

The elite of the authority of nations

عقيب هلاك ربوات

بربوات من النسم

After the deaths of myriads

After the destruction of fortunes

upon myriads of souls,

With fortunes of breaths

And after assemblies that brought together

the men who loosen and bind,

Men of resolution and judgment
