Have been touched by affliction, and the tyrant has grown overbearing.
We have been touched by harm and tyranny has lingered
عاكفAkif ليسdoes not يرقبheed اللهGod فيناconcerning us
عاكف ليس يرقب الله فينا
خيبmay thwart اللهGod عاكفاAkif حيثwherever مالاhe turns
خيب الله عاكفا حيث مالا
Akif has no regard for God in his treatment of us.
You do not protect God in us
May God thwart Akif wherever he turns.
God has disappointed those who lean where they should not

عاكف قد بغى وندعوك أن لا
تزدyou increase الظالمينthe wrongdoers إلاexcept ضلالاmisguidance

O protector, you have transgressed, and we call on you
